At the 18th edition of the International Agricultural Show in Morocco (SIAM), held from April 21 to 26, 2026, in Meknes, Crédit Agricole du Maroc (CAM) and Cassa Depositi e Prestiti S.p.A. (CDP), the Italian financial institution for international development cooperation, signed a strategic partnership agreement.
The partnership aims to strengthen agricultural value chains and promote sustainable development in Morocco, leveraging CDP's expertise in financing infrastructure and CAM's deep knowledge of the local agricultural sector. The agreement focuses on supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the agri-food sector.
This collaboration aligns with Morocco's Green Generation 2020-2030 strategy, which seeks to modernize agriculture and enhance food security. The signing ceremony was attended by senior officials from both institutions and representatives of the Moroccan Ministry of Agriculture.
