The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially announced the schedule for the semifinal matches of the 2025/26 CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup. The first legs are scheduled for the weekend of April 10-12, 2026, with the return legs set for April 17-19, 2026.
In the CAF Champions League, Moroccan clubs are prominently featured. Wydad Athletic Club will face Egypt's Al Ahly, while AS FAR (Forces ArmΓ©es Royales) will take on South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns. The draws for these matchups were conducted earlier in the competition's knockout phase.
For the CAF Confederation Cup, Morocco's RS Berkane has also advanced to the semifinals. They are set to compete against Nigeria's Rivers United for a place in the final. The other semifinal pairs Egypt's Zamalek with Tunisia's US Monastir.
The successful progression of multiple Moroccan clubs highlights the current strength of the nation's club football on the continental stage. The winners of these semifinals will advance to the respective finals, scheduled for May 2026.
