BULAWAYO – Police in Bulawayo have launched a murder investigation after the body of a 52-year-old man was discovered with stab wounds in the Old Magwegwe suburb on June 23, 2026.
Bulawayo police spokesperson Inspector Nomalanga Msebele identified the deceased as Mlimi, though his full name has not been released pending notification of next of kin. The body was found lying lifeless in the area, prompting a police response.
Inspector Msebele confirmed that investigations are underway and urged anyone with information to contact the nearest police station. No arrests have been made as of June 24, 2026.
The motive for the attack remains unknown, and police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
