Bolduc scores OT winner, Canadiens edge Blue Jackets 3-2

Forward Zachary Bolduc scored the game-winning goal 2:34 into overtime to lift the Montreal Canadiens to a 3-2 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets at Nationwide Arena on Thursday, March 26, 2026. The win marked Montreal's third consecutive victory.

Cole Caufield and Juraj Slafkovsky also scored for the Canadiens, with goaltender Cayden Primeau making 31 saves. For Columbus, goals came from Johnny Gaudreau and Adam Fantilli, while goaltender Daniil Tarasov stopped 28 shots.

The game was tied 2-2 at the end of regulation. In overtime, Bolduc took a pass from Mike Matheson and beat Tarasov with a wrist shot for his 12th goal of the season.

With the win, the Canadiens improved their record to 35-30-8. The Blue Jackets fell to 25-40-7. The two teams are scheduled to meet again in Montreal on April 9.
