The Toronto Rock of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) have announced the hiring of former goaltender Tyler Bold as the team's new goaltending coach. Bold, who played for the Rock from 2015 to 2017, returns to the organization in a coaching capacity.
Bold's professional playing career spanned from 2012 to 2019, including stints with the Buffalo Bandits and Rochester Knighthawks. Since retiring, he has built a reputation as a private goaltending instructor.
The Rock's General Manager, Jamie Dawick, stated the move aims to strengthen the team's defensive structure. The appointment comes as the Rock prepare for the upcoming NLL season.
