BALTIMORE (AP) — Yohendrick Piñango drew a bases-loaded walk from Anthony Nunez in the eighth inning to lift the Toronto Blue Jays to a 2-1 win over the Baltimore Orioles on Thursday night.

George Springer led off the eighth with a double, then was bunted to third by Bo Bichette. After an intentional walk to Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Nunez walked Alejandro Kirk to load the bases before Piñango's walk forced in the go-ahead run.

Toronto starter Kevin Gausman allowed one run on four hits over six innings, striking out seven. Orioles starter Grayson Rodriguez gave up one run on five hits in six innings, with eight strikeouts.

Chad Green (1-0) pitched a scoreless seventh for the win, and Jordan Romano earned his third save with a perfect ninth.
