Benvenuto Cellini, a three-year-old colt trained by Aidan O'Brien, won the Boodles Chester Vase at Chester Racecourse on May 6, 2026. The victory solidified his position as a leading contender for the Epsom Derby later this month.

Ridden by Ryan Moore, Benvenuto Cellini led from start to finish, winning by three lengths. The horse had previously won two races as a two-year-old and finished third in the Futurity Trophy at Doncaster in 2025.
