Ollie Bearman admitted that Haas 'didn't really deserve' to score a point at the Canadian Grand Prix, after the team salvaged a tenth-place finish following a difficult weekend in Montreal.
Haas brought a substantial upgrade package to the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, but struggled with pace and balance throughout the event. Bearman, who qualified 12th, managed to climb into the points during a race that featured multiple safety car periods and changing weather conditions.
'We didn't really deserve that P10, to be honest,' Bearman told media after the race. 'It was a tough weekend. We struggled with the car balance and never really felt comfortable. But we'll take the point and move on.'
The result keeps Haas in the midfield battle, though the team will need to address the issues with their new parts before the next round.
