Bassett Healthcare Network has honored Dr. John Smith with the Physician Excellence Award, recognizing his three decades of dedicated service to the community. The award was presented at a ceremony on July 28, 2026, at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown, New York.
Dr. Smith, a primary care physician, has been with Bassett since 1996, providing care to thousands of patients in the region. Colleagues praised his commitment to patient-centered care and his mentorship of younger doctors.
