FC Barcelona Femení advanced to the 2026 UEFA Women's Champions League final after defeating Real Madrid 2-0 in the second leg of their semi-final tie on Wednesday. The victory at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys secured a 3-1 aggregate win.
Captain Alexia Putellas opened the scoring in the 62nd minute, converting from the penalty spot after a handball. Forward Salma Paralluelo doubled the lead just four minutes later to seal the result.
The win marks Barcelona's third consecutive victory over their rivals this season, having also beaten them in the Spanish Supercopa final and the Liga F. They will now face either Chelsea or Lyon in the final in San Sebastián on May 24.
