The Q9 is positioned as an indirect successor to the A8 limousine, which has been discontinued. The interior images show a spacious cabin with high-quality materials, including leather and wood trim, and a large panoramic sunroof. The dashboard features a dual-screen setup, with a digital instrument cluster and a central infotainment display.
The Q9 is expected to be Audi's largest SUV, offering three rows of seats. It will likely be offered with a range of powertrains, including plug-in hybrid options. The vehicle is expected to compete with other large luxury SUVs such as the BMW X7 and Mercedes-Benz GLS.
