According to the City of Athens, several streets and parking spaces will be closed early next week, starting Monday, May 4, 2026, to facilitate scheduled maintenance work. The closures are expected to affect traffic in central areas.
Specific streets include a section of Panepistimiou Avenue between Syntagma Square and Omonia Square, which will be closed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Parking spaces along Stadiou Street will also be unavailable during the same period.
