According to official data, tourist arrivals in Arunachal Pradesh increased by 25% in 2025 compared to the previous year, driven by improved road networks and the expansion of airports. The CM noted that the state's agricultural sector also benefited from better market access and irrigation facilities.
Khandu emphasized that the government's focus on infrastructure has created new opportunities for local communities, particularly in remote areas. He cited the completion of key projects like the Trans-Arunachal Highway and the development of border roads as critical to this progress.
The CM also mentioned that the state is working on sustainable tourism initiatives to preserve its natural and cultural heritage while promoting economic growth. He called for continued investment in infrastructure to further enhance connectivity and support rural livelihoods.
