Mohamed Senhadji, director of the 'MeM by CGEM' program, stated that artificial intelligence is fundamentally a human transformation, not merely a technological one. Speaking at a recent conference in Casablanca, he highlighted that the success of AI adoption depends on workforce training and cultural adaptation.
The MeM initiative, launched by the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), aims to prepare Moroccan businesses for digital and AI-driven changes. Senhadji noted that over 500 companies have participated in MeM workshops since 2024, focusing on upskilling employees and fostering innovation.
According to CGEM reports, the program has trained more than 2,000 professionals in AI literacy and digital tools. Senhadji emphasized that without addressing human factors—such as resistance to change and lack of digital skills—AI investments risk failure. He called for a collaborative approach between government, academia, and private sector to build a sustainable AI ecosystem.
