Actor Frazer Hammill, known for his roles in the television series 'Emmerdale' and 'Happy Valley', was found dead at his home in Northern Ireland in December 2025. He was 41 years old.
An inquest into his death was held in March 2026. The Belfast Coroner's Court heard that Hammill had been arrested and questioned by police on the morning of December 30, 2025, in relation to an alleged domestic incident. He was released on bail later that day.
Hammill was found deceased at his home in the Ballygowan area later that same evening. A note was discovered on a neighbour's door. The inquest concluded that he died by suicide.
