During the 2026 Global Money Week, the Moroccan Insurance and Social Security Supervisory Authority (ACAPS) has intensified its efforts to promote financial literacy among young people. The regulator announced the launch of new digital and in-person educational formats, including interactive workshops and online resources, specifically designed for students and young professionals.

Global Money Week is an annual global awareness campaign, coordinated by the OECD, to empower the next generation to be financially savvy. The 2026 theme, "Protect your money, secure your future," focuses on financial safety and resilience. ACAPS's initiatives align with this goal, aiming to teach young Moroccans about budgeting, saving, and understanding financial risks.

The programs are part of ACAPS's broader national strategy for financial education. By targeting youth, the authority seeks to build a foundation of financial knowledge that supports long-term economic stability and informed decision-making. The activities are being rolled out in partnership with educational institutions and other stakeholders across the country.
