Abbey Holmes, a Channel 7 football presenter and former AFLW player for the Adelaide Crows, and her husband Keegan Brooksby, a former AFL player for the Gold Coast Suns and West Coast Eagles, have announced they are expecting their second child. The couple shared the news on social media on July 25, 2026.
Holmes, 31, and Brooksby, 34, already have a son, born in 2023. The announcement was accompanied by a photo of the family, with Holmes holding a sonogram image. The due date has not been publicly disclosed.
Holmes played 21 games for the Adelaide Crows in the AFLW from 2017 to 2020, kicking 15 goals. She transitioned to media, becoming a presenter for Channel 7's AFL coverage. Brooksby played 22 AFL games for the Gold Coast Suns and West Coast Eagles between 2016 and 2020.
