CBS's 60 Minutes has announced the hiring of three new correspondents and contributors: Ross Douthat, a conservative columnist for The New York Times; Sebastian Junger, author of The Perfect Storm; and Gianna Toboni, a veteran of Vice News. This marks the first major expansion of the 60 Minutes correspondent team in recent years. The show, which has been on the air since 1968, currently features correspondents including Lesley Stahl, Anderson Cooper, and Sharyn Alfonsi. The new hires are expected to begin contributing segments in the fall of 2026.
