Six people were wounded, including two children, in a mass shooting early Sunday morning in Hanover, Maryland, according to Anne Arundel County police. The incident occurred around 4:40 a.m. following a disturbance.
Police responded to the scene and found six victims with gunshot wounds. Two of the victims are children. All six were transported to area hospitals for treatment. Their conditions have not been released.
Detectives are actively investigating the circumstances of the shooting and are working to determine what led to the disturbance. No arrests have been reported as of Sunday evening.
