On April 25, 2026, the 7th edition of the Moroccan Terroir Products Competition awarded 455 medals at the Salon International de l'Agriculture au Maroc (SIAM) in Meknes. The event, organized by the Agricultural Development Agency, highlighted the diversity and quality of local products.
The competition featured categories such as olive oil, honey, argan products, and traditional cheeses. Medals were distributed across gold, silver, and bronze levels, with a focus on promoting sustainable agriculture and rural development.
This year's SIAM, running from April 21 to 26, 2026, under the theme 'Agriculture and Climate: Towards Sustainable and Resilient Systems,' attracted over 1,000 exhibitors from 70 countries. The terroir competition aims to boost market access for small producers and preserve culinary heritage.
