#4 Tennessee Softball Loses 2-1 to Ole Miss

The fourth-ranked University of Tennessee softball team fell to the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) with a final score of 2-1 on Saturday, March 28, 2026. The game was part of a Southeastern Conference (SEC) series played at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium in Knoxville.

Ole Miss pitcher Grace Sparks delivered a complete-game performance, allowing only one run on four hits while striking out five batters. The Rebels scored both of their runs in the top of the third inning, capitalizing on a key double by shortstop Ava Tillmann that drove in two runs.

Tennessee's lone run came in the bottom of the sixth inning when outfielder Kiki Milloy hit a solo home run. Despite loading the bases in the seventh inning, the Lady Vols were unable to complete the comeback, stranding the tying and winning runs. The loss moved Tennessee's overall record to 25-5 and 4-4 in SEC play.
