The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially confirmed the hosts and dates for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). The tournament will be jointly hosted by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
The competition is scheduled to take place from June 20 to July 18, 2027. This marks the first time the tournament will be co-hosted by three East African nations.
The decision was finalized by the CAF Executive Committee, awarding the hosting rights to the Pamoja bid from Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania. This follows a formal inspection and evaluation process of the candidate nations' infrastructure and plans.
The 2027 edition will be the 35th Africa Cup of Nations. The previous tournament, AFCON 2025, is scheduled to be held in Morocco.
