Gardai in north Dublin have seized approximately 75kg of suspected herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of €1.5 million. A man in his 30s was arrested in connection with the seizure.
The operation took place on May 23, 2026, in the north Dublin area. The man is currently being detained at a garda station in Dublin under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
This seizure is part of ongoing garda operations targeting drug trafficking in the Dublin region. Investigations are continuing, and gardai have not ruled out further arrests.
