Singtel confirmed on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, that a "small number" of its customers were experiencing connectivity issues. The telecommunications provider stated the incident was unrelated to a separate outage that had occurred the previous day.

The company addressed the issue in a post on its official Facebook page. "We are aware that a small number of customers may be experiencing connectivity issues," Singtel wrote. "This is unrelated to yesterday's incident. Our engineers are investigating and we will provide an update as soon as possible."

Outage tracking website Downdetector showed a spike in user-reported problems for Singtel's services around the time of the announcement. The nature and full scope of the technical issue were not immediately detailed by the company.

This report follows a confirmed outage on Monday, March 16, which Singtel had previously attributed to a technical fault. The telco has emphasized that the two incidents are distinct.
