Pakistan cricketer Salman Ali Agha has been reprimanded for a breach of the ICC Code of Conduct during the second One-Day International against Bangladesh. The International Cricket Council confirmed the sanction on March 14, 2026.
The incident occurred in Dhaka on March 13, when Agha was found to have breached Article 2.2 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to "abuse of cricket equipment or clothing, ground equipment or fixtures and fittings during an International Match." This is a Level 1 offence.
Match referee Neeyamur Rashid of the Emirates ICC International Panel of Match Referees imposed the sanction, to which Agha admitted the offence and accepted the proposed penalty. As a result, one demerit point has been added to his disciplinary record. This was his first offence in a 24-month period.
The charge was levelled by on-field umpires Sharfuddoula Ibne Shahid and Gazi Sohel, third umpire Masudur Rahman, and fourth umpire Tanvir Ahmed. There was no formal hearing as the player accepted the charge.
