Nvidia Corporation (NVDA) has established itself as the leading supplier of graphics processing units (GPUs) that accelerate artificial intelligence workloads. Its data center revenue, driven by AI chip sales, reached a record $47.5 billion in its fiscal year 2025, which ended January 26, 2025, according to its financial reports.

While Nvidia holds a significant market share, competitors are actively challenging its position. Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) has launched its MI300 series of AI accelerators, and Intel is promoting its Gaudi accelerators. Both companies are vying for a portion of the rapidly expanding AI hardware market.

Analysts note that the AI chip market is not a winner-take-all scenario. Different architectures and customer needs may allow multiple players to succeed. However, predicting a specific company to become "the next Nvidia" by 2030 is speculative, as market leadership depends on continuous innovation, software ecosystems, and execution over several years.
