Netflix's upcoming live-action adaptation of the 'Assassin's Creed' video game franchise has expanded its cast. According to a report from Variety, actors Noomi Rapace and Ramzy Bedia have joined the series.
Noomi Rapace, known for her roles in 'Prometheus' and 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo,' and French actor Ramzy Bedia, from 'Of Money and Blood,' are the latest additions. The series is being developed in partnership with Ubisoft.
The show's plot details remain under wraps. It is part of a broader content deal between Netflix and Ubisoft, which also includes an animated 'Assassin's Creed' series, 'Assassin's Creed: Jade' for mobile, and other projects.
No official release date for the live-action series has been announced. The project was first confirmed by Netflix in 2020, with Jeb Stuart ('The Fugitive') serving as showrunner.
