Israeli forces killed four Palestinians during a raid in the town of Tammun in the occupied West Bank on Saturday, March 15, 2026, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health. The ministry identified the deceased as Ali Bani Odeh, 42, and his three sons: Yazan, 17, Ahmad, 15, and Amir, 12.

The Israeli military stated the operation targeted a wanted suspect, Ali Bani Odeh, who it said was a Hamas operative involved in planning attacks. It said forces opened fire after the suspect and others in the vehicle opened fire at them. Palestinian news agency Wafa reported the family was in their car when they were shot.

The incident occurred during the final days of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. Violence in the West Bank has seen a significant increase over the past year. The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that over 460 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces or settlers in the West Bank since October 2023.

The Israeli military said the incident is under review. The killing has prompted calls for an investigation from Palestinian officials and condemnation from several human rights groups operating in the region.
