Euphoria composer Labrinth expressed frustration with the entertainment industry in a cryptic Instagram post on Thursday night, writing: "I'm done with this industry. Fuck Columbia. Double fuck 'Euphoria.' I'm out. Thank you and good night x." The post comes just weeks before the HBO series premieres its highly anticipated third season on April 12.

Labrinth has provided the score to Sam Levinson's hit teen drama since its first season in 2019, but for Season 3 it was announced that Hans Zimmer would also be joining as a composer. He has become best known for his contributions to the "Euphoria" score and soundtrack, with songs like "All for Us," "Formula," "Mount Everest" and "Never Felt So Alone" — which features vocals from Billie Eilish and was nominated for a Grammy — racking up millions of streams.

Columbia Records declined to comment. Representatives for Labrinth, HBO, and Columbia Records did not immediately respond to Rolling Stone's request for comment. The motivation behind the post remains unclear.

Labrinth is currently signed to Columbia Records, which released his latest album, "Cosmic Opera Act 1," in January. HBO has set the premiere date for Euphoria Season 3 at 9-10 p.m. Sunday, April 12, with new episodes dropping weekly on Sunday nights. The eight-episode season will feature a time jump that takes the characters out of high school.
