Wheelchair curling gold medalist Mark Ideson and para nordic skier Christina Wilkie have been named Canada's flag bearers for the closing ceremony of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games. The announcement was made by the Canadian Paralympic Committee on March 15, 2026.

Mark Ideson, who skipped Canada's wheelchair curling team to a gold medal at the 2022 Beijing Games, will compete again in Milan-Cortina. His leadership and performance in Beijing were pivotal in securing the championship for Canada.

Christina Wilkie is a visually impaired para nordic skier who won a silver medal in the women's sprint at the 2022 Paralympics with her guide, Katie Combaluzier. She is expected to be a strong medal contender again in 2026.

The selection honors two athletes who have demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship and achievement. The closing ceremony for the 2026 Paralympic Winter Games is scheduled for March 15, 2026, in Milan, Italy.
